Our flight path takes us over the southern bays of the lake then to the crossing of the Birdsville  Track and Cooper Creek. We follow the Creek   north to the large wetland area comprising the Coongie Lakes, thence to Innamincka.

At Innamincka we enjoy drinks and nibbles on the banks of the Cooper before dinner in the Outamincka bar.  Accommodation is twin-share in motel style rooms.

The return to Charleville the following morning is via the Cooper, the oilfields and the vast expanse of mulga scrub.

Note that depending on the spread of water and the time available, by request and at the pilot's discretion there may be variations to the actual route flown. Landing at some additional locations along the way may also be possible.
